Overview
At AnderKobes CPA we are Counting on Your Success... We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax regulations, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide insights that support effective decision-making. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with tax laws while optimizing financial performance for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and and heavy emphasis on Entities.

• Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities and strategies.

• Interpret financial reports to assess the impact of tax regulations on client operations.

• Maintain accurate general ledger accounting records to support tax filings.

• Assist clients with estate planning and asset management strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax preparation.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.

• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Proven experience in tax accounting or a similar role is preferred with 3 years minimum experience.

• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in financial report interpretation and general ledger accounting.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial analysis.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interactions.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools is necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
The Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer Accountant is responsible for providing bookkeeping and tax services to our Clients. This is an in office position, 40 hours per week.

Job Duties:

• Performs Bookkeeping services ensuring solid and dependable numbers for Clients to depend on.

• Follows up regularly with deliverables to ensure accuracy and to ensure proper account placemen to Meets Client deadlines and manages expectations

• AnderKobes CPA utilizes Quickbooks Online to provide these services

• Preforms Tax Preparation services ensuring a legally acceptable and quality tax return for Clients (will provide training and oversight - all returns are reviewed)

• Follows up with Clients on needed item

• Responds to emails and voicemail

• Contributes to client satisfaction by providing timely services and work product

• Demonstrates an understanding of bookkeeping and tax concepts and actively pursuing increased knowledge through client assignments and current subject developments

• Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Software:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Proficient in Quickbooks Online
